The 37th Great Master’s Death Anniversary of Hoang Phap Pagoda Founder at Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa

The ceremony took place under the witness of Junior Thich Nguyen Phuoc, Abbot of Sung Quang Pagoda, Thanh Hoa; Junior Thich Quang Dao, Abbot of Bai Nai Pagoda, Thanh Hoa; Junior Thich Nhuan Hoang; Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, Head of the Organizers, Nun Thich Nu Thanh Duc - Abbot of Van Loi Pagoda, Thanh Hoa and Nun Thich Dam Phuc - Nuns of Yen Ninh Pagoda, Thanh Hoa and Buddhist men and women everywhere returned the temple to attend.
In a solemn atmosphere, Buddhists representing the ashram respectfully invited the monks to come to Ngo Chan Tu lecture hall, and then Buddhist teenagers representatively offered alms on the Founders’ commemoration.
On behalf of the Sangha at present, Junior Thich Nguyen Phuoc declared the history of Late Great Master Ngo Chan Tu. To express the Buddhists’ gratitude to the Late Patriarchs, Buddhist Lien Hien offered her speech to him.
In the program, Junior Thich Tam Hung stated some words to the mass. Reviewing the merits of the late Great Master, the Junior expressed his deep respect to the late Great Most. His serve and career were an infinite lamp for the lay-home Buddhists and leaving-home ones to follow. This chance, he also advised every Buddhists should learn Sutras more diligently in order to repay grace to the late Great Master.
After that, the monks and Buddhists had time to offer prays, remember the Patriarch's grace, express their infinite gratitude to the Three Jewels and Patriarch image, pray for the Patriarch's spirit to be reborn to the Buddha realm; pray for the peaceful people and country, forever lasting Dharma teachings, happiness every homes. Then, the mass donated almsgivings to the Sangha and the participants together had lunch.
The great ceremony closed with the attendees’ glad.
