The 38th Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 38th children's playground for nearly 300 kids to attend on Dec. 18th, 2022.

After finishing registering in the morning, monks guided little learners coming to the lecture hall to participate in funny activities, such as doing exercise, playing mental and physical training games.

After that, the Kids listened to a short dharma talk on the topic How to make a child become more hardworking and obedient? preached by Junior Thich Dao Thuyen. In the Dharma talk, the children learned about Respect for parents, teachers, grandparents, relatives and people around; knowing how to love all species, protect the environment. By these teachings, the monk hopes that the learners will know how to change their behavior and life attitude for the better, become useful people for society, contributing to building a better and better country in the future.

In the afternoon, all kids listened to a life skills’ training program led by Mr. Bui Tien Hung, training director of Millennium Company by the topic: "Self-defense and getting out of danger". In the program, he helped to equip the necessary knowledge to protect little kids against bad and dangerous situations when there are no adults around.

Before leaving the temple, young participants received a gift of Dharma from the monks, which was a book named Rat bites shirt written by Most Thich Chan Tinh and other gifts.
