The 3rd Retreat meditating - reciting the Buddha's name at Tay Khanh Pagoda

On Oct. 23th - 25th, 2020 (Sep. 7th - 9th, Year of Mouse), Tay Khanh Pagoda (Cao Mai, Quang Hung, Kien Xuong,Thai Binh) organized the 3rd Retreat meditating-reciting Buddha's name.

In the morning of the first day, the monks instructed Buddhists some necessary rules of the retreat, such as bowing, prostrations, the method of how to sit when quietly meditating.

In the afternoon, in response to the invitation from the Junior Abbot, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Duoc had a sharing session to all participants with the theme: "Loving of Dharma and Reflecting on Dharma".

The Junior Ven. preached about three things to think before listening to Dharma which is taught by the Buddha in the sutra of Digha Nikaya: respect for the dharma, respect for the lecturer, the lecturer and dharma listeners must clean their body and mind being pure and peaceful.
