The 43rd Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 43rd children's playground for over 1300 kids to attend on June 04th, 2023.

After registering in the morning, monks guided little learners coming to the lecture hall to participate in funny activities, such as doing exercise, playing mental and physical training games.

Next, the Kids listened to a short dharma talk on the topic named: Kids should do five things preached by Junior Thich Tam Lap.

During the preaching session, the monk reminded little listeners five basic precepts of lay Buddhists. For the little ones: do not kill, know how to love all sentient beings; do not steal, do not be lazy; Dress discreetly, do not chase bad friends, do not live loosely, obey parents; do not lie; do not use addictive substances, do not indulge in games.

After the Dharma talk, kids enjoyed the music and exchanged with the child singers: Khang Nguyen – Champion of "Listen to me singing" season 2 (2022); Dao Phuong Linh – Runner-up "Listen to me singing" season 2 (2022).

Before ending the study program in the morning, little learners read Most Thich Chan Tinh ’s gratitude poem in guiding by monks, remind them to remember the merits of their parents, teachers, Three Jewels, the country and the people around, and then vow to try their best to become good children when they return to their families.

Then, children interacted with the little singer: Baby Mai Vy - Vietnamese Music Prodigy in the afternoon.

Next, young participants learned with a life skills’ course guided by Ms. Thanh Hien (Life skills teacher - GAIA International Education Development Joint Stock Company) in the topic "Health protection in the summer".

At the end of the program, kids participated in the movement game and received balloons and gifts from the Organizers.

The Playground ended with the joy of the children and their parents.
