The 50th Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 50th children's playground for over 700 kids to attend on Jan. 07th, 2024.

After registering in the morning, Junior Thich Tam Hoa, Junior Thích Tam Lap guided little learners coming to the lecture hall to participate in funny activities, play team games.

All Kids listened to a dharma talk on the topic named Honesty preached by Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda.

Honesty means we don't lie and tell the truth. Therefore, honesty is very important to build the moral character of each person.

Through some stories: "The seed did not germinate", "The little boy liar", the monk taught kids to eliminate bad habits, cultivate themselves to form good moral personalities, and be accepted by  people who love and respect them; they will have a better life in the future.

After that, Nun Thich Nu Chuc Hieu, Miss Luong Thuy Linh and guest singers: Pham Thieng Ngan, child singer Huynh Hao Khang, especially with the participation of little Tuong Lam, interacted with the children.

The monk instructed little litteners to re-read the comic book Mother-Father graces compiled by Most Thich Chan Tinh before closing the study program. Understanding the hardship, wearing and love of their parents, kids must be grateful, be more filial and obedient.

With the participation of magician Sa Khang, singer Tran Hung Tuan and singer Ngan Trang, the entertainment and magic show came to the children in the afternoon.

The Playground closed with the joy of all children and their parents.  Before leaving the temple, the organizers gave a gift of dharma to kids.
