The 6th gratitude Ceremony and One-Day Practice at Minh Chat ashram in Can Tho

Junior Thich Tam Hue and devout Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda returned to Minh Chat retreat in Can Tho on Jan. 20th, 2024 (Dec. 10th, LC) to attend the 11th One-Day Retreat.
Attending the practice were the presence of Buddhists at Minh Chat ashram, Can Tho, as well as Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda, HCMC.
This time was Junior Thich Tam Vuong, Abbot of Tay Phap Pagoda in Tay Ninh, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda who came to support the retreat.
After breakfast, the monks guided Buddhists in the demeanor to fold hands, prostrate; how to walk, recite Buddha's name, and raise a bow to offer food.
Then, the mass had the time of reciting the Buddha's name, and chanted the precepts.
In response to the Organizers’ invitation, Junior Thich Tam Duc had a Dharma talk to the mass on the topic " Is life joy or suffering?
Over an hour sharing Buddhism, all listeners felt very gladly, and took it as valuable knowledge on their path of practice.
The Junior, monks and Buddhists went to release fish at Hau Giang River in Can Tho.
The day of practice ended with the joy of the attendees.
The 6th Gratitude Ceremony to Buddhists in the evening is for lay Buddhists who have joined hands with the ashram to do Buddhist work: such as charity, freeing animals, spreading the light of Buddhism to all the country regions in the past.
The gratitude ceremony was completed in the joy of the mass.
