The 7th Dharma Talk Program: "Confidences in the cultivation life"

In response to the urgent dispatch of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Director's Council of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha when the complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic, Hoang Phap pagoda has suspended all the retreats since July 31st, 2020 and turn activities to the internal cultivation. The 7th dharma talk "Confidences in the cultivation life" on August 6th, 2020 continued to take place according to the study schedule at the pagoda with the talk by Junior Thich Tam Khuyen told about his religious life.

Each flower adorns the garden with private colors; Likewise, each leaving-home person coming to the religion will bring different nuances, enriching the program. The predestined condition to know the religion, towards the path of renunciation is thanks to his loving and respectful heart for his mother. Thus, ordination is a meaningful path to repay filial piety to the merit of being born of parents.

The monk told a very true personal story from family life, mistakes when he was a child to the period of cultivation at the pagoda to the time of applying for ordination.

In his telling, there were a series of funny stories mixed with sad ones accompanied with mistakes during the ordination period at the temple. On this occasion, he confessed to the wrong things that he had committed during the monkhood time at the pagoda but had no chance to express before.
