The 8th retreat “Learning the Practice as the Buddha Teachings” at Dong Cao Pagoda

On Aug. 24th, 2019 (lunar July 24th, the Year of the Pig), Dong Cao Pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) officially opened the eighth retreat “Learning the Practice as the Buddha teachings” (on 25th - 29th of Aug. 2019) for Buddhists attending.

In the afternoon, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung and the monks at pagoda instructed Buddhists to practice some Buddhist rules of posture.

After breakfast the morning of Aug. 25th, 2019 (lunar July 25th, the Pig year), Chief of the Organizer shared the retreat's rules to all listeners, which help Buddhists solemnly show in cultivation region, keep on peacefulness spirit, purifying their body and mind.

In the afternoon, the mass began the time reciting the Buddha name. After that, the Monk preached dharma to Buddhists. The evening is the time for chanting Ksihitigarbha Sutra and reciting the Buddha's name.
