The affairs of preparing for the great ceremony of the Buddha's Birthday at Tay Khanh pagoda in Thai Binh province

The ceremony of the Buddha's Birthday is the Buddhism's importantlyspirit and cultural festival all over the world in general and VietNam in particular. At the beginning of lunar April, whether pagodas in cities or rural areas, they will decorate Buddhist flags, lanterns, etc, flying on the wind in all paths greeting the Buddha’s appearance in the world.

In harmony with the joyfulness of welcoming the Buddha’s Birthday in all over the country, Tay Khanh pagoda, in Quang Hung commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province joyfully greeted the great ceremony.

Under the intruction from Junior Abbot Ven. Thich Tam Kinh, the monks and Buddhists of Tay Khanh pagoda enthusiastically completed the preparing affairs for this Festival in 2562 Buddhists calendar, in 2018.

The garden of Lumbini, banners, slogans, gateways, flowers carriages for the parade, etc, were decorated so that the ceremony would be perfectly successful. The participants’ faces always enlight joyfully under the bright and humid sunshine in the summer, because they respectly contributed their abilities and alms to the Buddhas on occasion the Buddha’s Birthday.
