The birthday of Amitabha Buddha at Suoi Phap pagoda, Tay Ninh

On Nov. 17th of the lunar calendar every year is the birthday of Amitabha Buddha according to the Buddhist tradition of Mahayana. On this day, pureland temples usually celebrate a night lighting flower lanterns to celebrate the birthday of Amitabha Buddha.

On December 28th, 2020 (Nov. 15th, Year of Mouse), Suoi Phap Pagoda at Suoi Ngo, Tay Ninh - a branch of Hoang Phap pagoda also responded to this spirit, happily organizing the night lighting candles, celebrating the birthday of Amitabha Buddha.

The ceremony ended in glee for the participants.
