The Buddha bath Rite on His Birthday at Dong Cao Pagoda

In the morning of April 30th, 2020 (April 8th, Year of Rat), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, the Abbot at Dong Cao Pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) and the mass started to chant doctrine together, then the monk retelled Buddha's life on occasion of the Buddha birthday in 2020, Buddhist calendar 2564.

Next, the mass will celebrate the traditional rite of bathing Buddha on the week of Buddha to be born in life. On these days, Dong Cao Pagoda will practice a period of cultivating to commemorate and repay to Him on every morning at 7:45 am - 10:00 am, from April 30th to May 7th, in 2020. With this practice, all participants vow to sow the seeds of Bodhi and transfer compassionate energy to everywhere, then will pray the Covid-19 pandemic would be early eradicated.
