The Buddha’s Birthday Celebration at Dong Cao Pogoda – Thanh Hoa

With the joy of welcoming the Buddha’s Birthday Celebration in the country, on the morning of May 7th, 2017 (April 12th, Rooster Year), thousands of Buddhists gathered to Dong Cao Pogoda, Yen Khoai Village, Nga Yen Commune, Nga Son District after many days of decorative preparation to participate the Buddha’s birthday (Buddha calendar 2561)

Merry Dharma is delightedly transferredâ€.
After the performance of the singers and Buddhists from Dong Cao Pagoda to welcome the Buddha’s Birthday, at 9: 00, after the three intellectual bells were ringing, the Buddhists hold their hands together to welcome venerable monks and nuns coming to the lecture hall.
After the national anthem, the whole Bodhi-mandala dedicated to pay homage to martyrs, the soldiers who died for the peace and happiness of all people.
Continuing the program, the children of Dong Cao pagoda ‘s Buddhist family were dedicated to the Buddhas and Holiness the most beautiful flowers.
Buddha Senior Ven, leader of the church always sends Buddhist monks and nuns the message in the Buddha's Birthday. At the ceremony, Senior Venerable Thich Nguyen Hiep sent this message. Continuously Senior Venerable Thich Tam Hung, abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda - Chief Organizing Committee of Buddhist Venerable Speaker of the Head of Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam On behalf of the local government, Mr. Pham Ba Bon, Chairman of the People's Committee, made a speech on the occasion of Buddha's birthday.
In the ceremony, representatives of the government and the Head of Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam presented flowers to the Buddha on the day of the Buddha. On behalf of the Buddhists, Senior Venerable Thich Nguyen Hiep made the words of the Buddhist spirit to the Vietnamese people from the past until now and forever.
Ending the ceremony, Buddhists celebrated the ritual birthday, washing a Buddha’s statue, releasing balloons and praying.
In the evening, for the first time in Nga Son land, the Buddhists participate the palanquin celebration with procession to welcome the Buddha's birthday in the solemn atmosphere.
