The Buddhism Wedding Ceremony of two Ukraine travelers at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

The event occurred with blessings from all monks and presence of many Buddhists.
“After finishing the tour in Dubai, Vietnam was our next destination. Coming to Vietnam, we wished to find out the tradition culture especially the Buddhism culture. After discovering pagodas in Vietnam, we were impressed by both Buddhism study activities and the way to preach Buddhism knowledge, so, we decided to hold our wedding right here, we believed that ourselves would perceive the peace and happiness from here”, said the bride Kuzmych.
Besides the Ukrainian couple, there were two more couples who were Vietnamese. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong went with Mr. Do Van Thao and Mrs. Phan Minh Hang accompanied with her spouse Nguyen Hai Nam.
In the solemn ambience, three couples were given the direction by monks of how to carry out a Buddhism wedding, such as: chanting sutras for greetings, sending gratitude to parents, giving a vow to each other for being together forever, ring exchange, etc, ….
Before ending the event, Senior Venerable Thich Tam Giai, the monk from Hoa Phuc Pagoda, gave some advises to three newlyweds, advises were about the way of being husband and wife written in Sujata Sutra.
Finishing the event, the groom Harkusha shared: “It was wonderful and happy, that was such a holy and touching ceremony, it would be the beautiful memories in our life”.
The sacred atmosphere of the event would make the newlyweds understand more about the original value of family and the spiritual value of happy marriage in Buddhism. Or in other words, the harmony between traditional nation culture and Buddhism spiritual culture would help to build up the long-last, happy and loving marriage life.
