The Buddhist Festival chanting Ksihitigarbha on occasion of the great Ullambana Ceremony at Hoa Phuc Pagoda – Hanoi

Witnessing in the ceremony, there were Venerable monks and nuns as being abbot at monasteries across the country.

In the three days of the dharma Festival, Buddhists have been attending the programs of Buddhist cultivation, such as: chanting Ksihitigarbha, the ritual praying rebirth for ancestors and dead foetus, the night of flower - lantern praying for prosperous nation and peaceful people – the great Ullambana ceremony, a dharma Conversation to answer Buddhist questions, especially there was a dharma talk from the witnessing Venerables.
Attending and witnessing for the dharma Festival, Ven Thich Tam Buu - The Abbot of Thien Phuoc Pagoda (Quang Ngai Province) compassionately preached a dharma talk for the Buddhists attending with the topic: "The meaning and benefits of chanting Ksihitigarbha for the alive people and the dead ones"; Venerable Thich Quang Su - The Abbot of Pho Da Pagoda (Binh Thuan Province) had a dharma talk with theme: "The origin of the ritual praying rebirth"; Venerable Thich Giac Nguyen, Vice of Sangha Affairs including Vice - Board of the propagation of Vietnam Buddhist Association in Tien Giang Province, chairman of Committee for religious affair in Vietnam, of Go Cong Town, Tien Giang Province, Abbot of Hue Quang pagoda had a dharma talk with the theme: “The meaning of the Great Ullambana ceremony”. Besides, the dharma talks preached and answered problems about buddhist knowledge helping Buddhists get more wisdom and more useful buddhist knowledge.
Some short words may not share fully benefits of the dharma Festival in chanting Ksihitigarbha during the Ullambana season. However, the spirit of filial piety of the children of the Buddha is the best evidence taking place at the solemn and pure ceremony, at the precious dharma speech from the Venerables and from the cultivating joy of attended Buddhists.
