The ceremony putting the Buddha statue at Dong Cao Pagoda

Reportedly, some Buddhists made offering the Buddha image which were sculpted by the national artisan Le Van Chung in Ho Chi Minh City. After completion, the statue was taken to the pagoda for people to adore and worship.
In the morning, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao pagoda and Buddhists came Do Len bridge in Ha Trung town to take the Buddha statue. The process of moving statue to the Pagoda: Highway 1 - Road 13 - Nam Hanh crossroads - Hung Long bridge - Dong Cao pagoda. Because of the Pagoda's main Hall is in the process of finishing, so the statue will be placed in a temporary position.
In the afternoon, with the witness of Junior Abbot, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Due, the Monk from Hoang Phap pagoda, Nun Thich Nu Dieu Tuyen, the Nun of Hung Thien Pagoda, Dong Thap and Buddhistrs came to attend the ceremony to settle the Buddha. Then, the rite of freeing creatures was performed.
This chance, the Junior Abbot had some dharma words to the mass, who should try to live in the spirit of gratitude and repayment, especially for the Buddha ’s disciples who should try to preserve and promote this spirit. On this occasion, Junior Ven gave dharma gifts to the mass attending the ceremony.
