The charity on the full moon day of lunar October at Dong Cao Pagoda

After the chanting Ksitigarbha sutra, Junior Thich Tam Hung instructed Buddhists to hold a rite of creature liberation at Hung Long River.
Next, the mass chanted the Eightfold Path of sutra and performed the ritual of offering a meal on the lunch’s full moon day to the Buddhas and Patriarchs worshiping at the temple.
The mass prepared nearly 400 vegetarian meals to give to patients being treated at Nga Son General Hospital under the guidance of Buddhist Tinh Dong.
After the mass chanted together the Lotus sutra led by Lien Ha Buddhists in the afternoon, the Abbot and all practitioners went back to the Hoang Phap pagoda to attend the 34th anniversary of the Patriarch's passing.
