The Closing Ceremony of the Horse Year at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa Province.

On occasion of One- day Retreat at Dong Cao Pagoda, in February 8th 2015 (December 20th Horse Year), the organizer celebrated the year-end ceremony and offered presents to poor Buddhists and tough families in Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province.

Permitted by the local government and supported in materials\r\nand cash by domestic and oversea Buddhists, the organizer of Dong Cao Pagoda\r\ntook 200 presents (including rice, sugar, seasoning, cooking oil and 2 books\r\nnamed At Home Cultivation and Human Life - written by Senior Ven. Thich Chan\r\nTinh) to difficulty families in Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province under the\r\nwitness of Ven. Thich Tam Hung- the abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, Yen Khoai\r\nvillage, Nga Yen commune, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province. In the\r\nceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen- vice president of Nga Yen commune’s historic\r\nand cultural vestige management board, and the chief of Yen Khoai cultural\r\nvillage and Buddhists also gathered at the pagoda. After the ceremony, they\r\nstarted to the one- day retreat as usual.

In this retreat, the organizer offered a VCD “Whose\r\nresponsibility?”
