Hoang Phap pagoda organized a contest to learn about the dharma teachings for the temple's Buddhists on Nov. 28th, 2025.
 

The contest to learn about the teachings for Buddhists at the pagoda

 

 Contest will encourage the studying and improving the knowledge of Buddhism for Buddhists. When understood correctly, lay people having the mind to serve and protect the Triple Gem will create the right faith and right view, which will be a solid foundation to cultivate merit and accumulate blessings.

 

The dharma contest includes review of doctrine provided by the Monks. Exam question had 80 multiple-choice questions and 10 essay questions.

 

 Last, the Monks awarded medals and gifts to the winning candidates: 01 first prize, 02 second prize, 03 third prize and 10 consolation prizes on the morning of Nov. 29th, 2025.
