The flower lantern ceremony commemorating the Amitabha Buddha at Tieu Dao Pagoda - Quang Ninh province

The ceremony was witnessed by Junior Venerable, Thich Truc Thai Cang - Deputy Director of the Office of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province; Junior Venerable Thich Tam Tinh - Member of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province - Chief Secretary of the Buddhist Director Board in Ha Long City and Junior Venerable Thich Nhu Minh - Head of the Legal Department of the Buddhist Director Board in Dong Trieu province. There were also Venerable, monks, nuns who are abbots of pagodas inside and outside the province proving and attending the ceremony.
We have known from countless past life, Amitabha Buddha is the king of integrity, using the Dharma rule for all people. With the desire to seek the truth and liberate the suffering of human life, he renounced the throne and the highest power and became a monk living a life of virtue and bringing truth to win human’s heart. Once upon a time, after listening to the Buddha preaching, he showed about the immeasurable landscape in ten worlds, from the power of compassion, he immediately vowed 48 prayers and established the Pure Land with seven solemn treasures. After this, when he became the Buddha, the Buddha Amitabha, the master of the Western Pure Land.
Following the program, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Tinh, Member of the Buddhist Director Board of Quang Ninh province, Chief Secretary of the Buddhist Director Board in Ha Long city, the Abbot of Tieu Dao pagoda, the Chief of the Director Board of the flower lantern ceremony of Amitabha Buddha, offered the opening speech.
On the behalf of the Buddhist Director Board in Quang Ninh province, Junior Venerable Thich Truc Thai Cang, deputy director of the Buddhist Board in Quang Ninh province, read 48 vows of Amitabha Buddha
On this occasion, Junior Venerable Thich Nhu Minh - Head of the Legislation Board of the Buddha Director Board of Dong Trieu Town, sent words to the whole mass "The Pure Land is a very magical, easy-going method and conform to all levels of beings. Only people believing in the power of the vow of Buddha Amitabha and devoting his name will be reborn in the Pure Landâ€. The words were short but meaningful, helping the Buddhist understand more about Amitabha Buddha as well as the benefits of reciting the Buddha.
At the end of the ceremony, the venerable took and offered incense, celebrated of the memorial of Emerald Buddha and recited the Buddhist scripture and people prayed for 10 ways of Buddha, blessing for the family’s prosperity, peace, finished battlefields and all nature taking refuge in Buddhism.
