The Gratitude Ceremony at Hoa Phuc Pagoda in Ha Noi

On occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, Hoa Phuc pagoda celebrated the ceremony of gratitude and Year-Ending party which pays gratitude to Buddhists in the past year for coming to the pagoda to practice and to contribute in the Buddhist’s activities.

Attending the ceremony were Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa, Abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda and over 600 Buddhists in the ashram.

Before the ceremony, Buddhists came the lecture hall to review the Buddha's teachings through the film "Buddha's Life".

Next, the mass was heard the Abbot read Di Giao Sutra, which is the Buddha's teachings before entering Nirvana. The words in the profound and practical sutra not only help us learn compassion of the Buddha but also draw valuable lessons to practice the Dharma. Since then, learners have strong will on their path of cultivation.

Next, it is confiding and gratitude of the Monk with all the participants in the retreat. Hopefully, Buddhists entering the new year will be more diligent and practice well to gain merit in the future.
