The Gratitude Ceremony at the Minh Chat retreat in Can Tho

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, a monk at Hoang Phap Pagoda, the founder of Minh Chat Retreat in Can Tho, held the first "Buddhists Gratitude Ceremony" in the retreat on Jan. 19th, 2020 (lunar Dec. 25th, 2019).

After introducing of the program is the declaration of ceremony opened by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue. Next, it is the candle-lighting ritual. Candlelight symbolizes the warm light of co-cultivators in the Minh Dao ashram. This is the light of understanding and compassion, beginning from the Monk's gratitude to every Buddhist. Next, it is a summary of the report about Buddhist's activities in 2019.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue had a few words to confide with mass, as well as his gratitude to those who have contributed to the development of Minh Dao Retreat up to now. As a result, thanking to support and construction of Buddhists, the retreat could exist until up today.

At the end of ceremony, the Monk gave gifts to the mass.
