The Great Birthday Ceremony in 2022 at Bon (Tu Phap Co Tu) Pagoda

On the afternoon of May 3rd, 2022 (April 3rd, LC), Tu Phap Co Tu or Bon Pagoda (Nghe An) solemnly held the Great Buddha's Birthday in 2022.

After continuing rain for two days; luckily, the weather is sunny and warm again. The great ceremony had the presence of the Abbot, monks, level authorities, organizations, local guests, and nearly 500 Buddhist men and women from everywhere attended the great celebration.

“This year's Buddha's Birthday has come in a joyful atmosphere after two years of the Covid-19 epidemic having to implement social distancing. Buddha's Birthday is an important holiday where many activities such as the flower offering ceremony - offering fragrant flowers to the Buddhas, cultural programs praising the country's homeland, especially the Buddha bathing rite, releasing balloons and releasing birds. Praying is world peace, prosperous country, happy family, sentient beings imbued with the Dharma, everyone is happy.

Thanks to the Buddha's Birthday, Buddhists have the opportunity to better understand His teachings and bring it closer to daily life.
