The Great Ceremony of Buddha Birthday at Nhat Phap Pagoda in Dong Nai

On May 26th, 2024 (April 19th, LC), Nhat Phap Pagoda in Dong Nai province held the Great Ceremony of Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568.

The ceremony was witnessed and attended by the Sangha, good man and believing woman, Buddhists everywhere.

First, the children in the Khanh Phap Buddhist Family offered musical performances to welcome Buddha's birth to the Buddhas and Monks.

Next, all participants listened to a Dharma talk about "The Meaning of Buddha Birthday" shared by Junior Thich Tam Luan - Abbot of Bao Quang Pagoda (Dong Nai province).

Finally, the Buddha's Birthday and Bathing ritual were held in a solemn and respectful atmosphere.

On this occasion, the pagoda awarded 50 gifts to disadvantaged households in Hung Loc commune.

The ceremony was completed in the joy of the mass.
