The Great Ullambana Ceremony 2022 at Minh Chat ashram.

At 9:00 am, in the solemn atmosphere, male and female Buddhists welcomed the Sangha entering the main hall to demonstrate and celebrate the great ceremony.

About the program proof, there were Junior Thich Tam Hue, Head of Charity Department, Head of Organizers, and the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda and Buddhists.

After declaring the reason, introduction of the participants, Buddhis youth respectfully offered flowers to the Buddhas in ten directions and the present Sangha.

Before pinning roses, Buddhist Nhu Y read the meaning of setting rose flowers. In that sacred moment, the mass had a minute of silence to remember the great grace of the Buddhas, the teacher's education, and the birth and upbringing by parents. Besides, it is also a tribute to the gratitude of the country, sentient beings of all kinds, the heroic soldiers who have sacrificed themselves for the peace and happiness of the people.

Next, the filial sons gave flowers to their parents, this is the most meaningful part of this day.

In sacred moments, Buddhist made a speech to offer, and respectfully offered robe to the Sangha". On behalf of the monks receiving gifts and giving teachings, Junior Thich Tam Hue congratulated and praised the filial piety spirit of the ashram;

On the occasion of Ullambana, the monk explained the spirit of correcting mistakes, and forgave the mistakes of sentient beings. Then, he talked about the Buddha disciple's filial piety, being to repay by spiritual practice for oneself, then guide parents and others to follow the moral path, respect Three Jewels, uphold the five precepts, vow Bodhi mind to make an example for next generations. Only then is it worthy of a filial son, a true Buddhist in the religion.

The mass began the ritual of chanting to pray for deceased parents to be born in a peaceful realm, and present parents will increase in longevity and blessings.

The ceremony was held in a dignified and meaningful atmosphere on the day of Ullambana's filial piety. Before the end of the program, the organizers had gratitude, merit dedication and took photo for souvenir
