The Great Ullambana Ceremony 2022 at Nhat Phap Pagoda, Dong Nai

On August 14th, 2022 (July 17th, LC), a large number of men and women Buddhists returned to Nhat Phap Pagoda in Dong Nai province to attend the Great Ullambana Ceremony 2022.
Before the beginning ceremony, monks-nuns and Buddhists chanted the Ullambana Sutra, praying requiem for their ancestors, grandparents, parents who have passed away for many previous lives.
In boundless respect, the mass raised their voices to recite the Buddha's name, mixed with the sound of bells and drums to welcome monks and nuns in the lecture hall to begin the Great Ullambana in 2022.
With the best efforts of the organizers, the ceremony brought many emotions, recalling the great grace of parents with passionate words and music. All practitioners listened to a Dharma talk about parents' gratitude from Junior Thich Tam An, Abbot of Hung Phap Pagoda, Xuan Loc, Dong Nai.
Under the guidance of Junior Thich Tam Trong, Abbot of Nhat Phap Pagoda, Buddhists have given offerings to present monks and nuns adding one-year-old of religious life. May the venerables gladly accept these items to dedicate blessings to present and past parents, the dead or alive being benefit, sentient beings in all realms will attain Buddhahood.
On this occasion, Nhat Phap Pagoda sent 100 gifts to lonely elderly people in the commune. This gift is supported by Buddhists and Donors.
