The Great Ullambana Ceremony at Hoa Phuc Pagoda, Ha Noi, Universal salvation of family ancestry.

On Aug. 14th, 2022 at Hoa Phuc Pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's custom) in HaNoi City solemnly celebrated the Great Ullambana Ceremony, universal salvation of family ancestry.

After gathering in the lecture hall in the morning and sitting to listen to the wake-up bell, the mass watched the attractive musical performances performed by Hoa Phuc Pagoda’s Buddhists in the filial piety season to show gratitude to the Master and parents.

At the ceremony, Junior Thich Tam Hoa, Abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda came to the lecture hall to offer incense to the Three Jewels, and together with the monks to celebrate the ceremony of Gratitude to Parents, Ancestors, wishing longevity his Master and Monks, chanting Ullambana Sutra, then recite the Buddha's name to purify the three karma for practitioners.

After that, the assembly offered flowers to the Three Jewels, expressed gratitude to their parents, and paid homage to the Four Grace. The mass walked in dignified silence, everyone was mindful toward their parents and the grace they had received in life. There were tears shed, but everyone was joyful, peaceful and happy in the protection of the Three Jewels.

After the ceremony, everyone received lunch and prepared to enter the important part "Sacrifice to lonely souls, aid of family ancestors," taking place in the afternoon.

May this immeasurable merit dedicate it to the sentient beings of six realms to hear the sound of Dharma, cut off afflictions, be freed from delusion, cross the circle of birth and death, and accumulate all good karma.
