The Kid’s Playground “Close to the Buddha”

On Sep. 23rd, 2018 (August 14th, Lunar Calendar), the 8th “Close to the Buddha” course a kids’ playground was organized at Hoang Phap temple.
 

The Kid’s Playground “Close to the Buddha”

 

In the morning, after enrolling, the mons guided all children to the main lecture hall for listening Dharma from Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, the organization’s head.

With a short talk, he teaches the children how to behave when seeing the unknown people or strangers: don’t receive anything from them, it’s dangerous because they may be kidnaped people. He then recites some verses for them to follow:

Unknow people
Giving you food
Giving you things
Maybe kidnap
Don’t get the things.

 Go to school
Then you get home
You are good kids
Not hanging around.

Go out with friends
First, ask your parent
For their permission
Don’t be free will.

In the afternoon, after playing, they will recite the verse “Gratitude”, and have few minutes for sitting.
