The Kid’s Playground “Coming to the Buddha”

In the morning, the registration for them was carried by the organizer, then the monks lead them to the lecture hall for a short listening Dharma talked by Venerable abbot Thich Chan Tinh, the head organization. He said not much but the simple and polite behave a kid should have to the elders. All are the basic practice a child should know for nice behavior including greeting all the family members before leaving and coming home, paying attention to what they teach when we are in the mistake, being an obedient and pious kid in the case of need, having a nice manifest behavior in public communication. What he said is shortened in a verse:
Leaving and coming
Grandparents greeting
Parent and sibling
How nice deal we are!
Good words they said
For better learning
We should follow
Being good kids.
Our face in talk
Pleasant and joy
Smiling to what
We are talking.
Finished the Talk, the kids all enjoy their play and take lunch with friends.
In the afternoon, they recited the verse “Gratitude” then spent some minutes for quiet sitting.
A brief sharing of the kidnap situation increasing nowadays in society by Mrs. Kieu Thuy Linh, the Subdirector of the Tomato extracurricular school. She pointed out some dangerous cases which can happen to the kids and how to identify. The sharing is practical for the parent to keep their children safe.
A-practice day closed in the rejoicing and sunshine of the attendant kids.
