The last day of Buddha's Birthday Week 2020 at Dong Cao Pagoda

This year's Vesak ceremony cannot held due to the Covid-19 epidemic. On behalf of the monks at Dong Cao pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung had congratulation words to Buddhists are watching online will attain peace and happiness, living steady in the Buddha's teachings to build ownself and a prosperous Vietnam.
Next, the monks had a period of chanting sutra and reciting the Buddha's names. Next, it was the rite bathing Buddha and releasing creatures, praying for the long lasting Dharma, Buddhists remaining their faith in the Three Jewels, all people being safety, the country soon stabilize and develop socio-economic after the epidemic. Before leaving, Buddhists were given gifts of Dharma.
After daily chanting at the temple in the afternoon, the Venerable Abbot gave presents to the poor on occasion of the Buddha's birthday in 2020. In the evening of the same day, a tea meditation session was held for the pagoda’s Monks and Buddhist with the subject "Energy self-cultivation during the Buddha's birthday 2020." By this way, monks and practitioners have more time to sit together and express their thoughts in the process of studying and practicing teachings in their daily life. The night of tea meditation ended in rejoice of all participants.
