The Last Day of Temporary ordination in Summer for Children at Dong Cao Pagoda

On June 4, 2022 (May 6, LC), the last day of the retreat, after meditation moments in sitting and walking, the children and their group members had an exchange and took souvenir photos together.

Under the guidance of Buddhist Lien Hong, temporarily ordination novices made offerings to the monks of Yen Phap (Dong Cao) Pagoda. In front of the monks, these little novices paid their received precepts.

After paying respects to the Three Jewels, the monks and children together read the Gratitude poem and made a vow to recite Amitabha Buddha. At the end of the rite, the mass reviewed the rules of studying under the witness of monks, Buddhist Tinh Hung, Head of members, as well as Buddhist Lien Hong, Lien Thanh and volunteer Buddhists.

This program will help children participate in useful activities, receive meaningful gifts from the Organizers by catechism contests, folk dance, Dong Cao Gottalent, extracurricular games, then exchange with monks, grandparents, youth club members and volunteers.

All children received gifts sent from Hoang Phap Pagoda's Most Thich Chan Tinh in HCMC, as well as gifts from the Organizers. Thanks to this, the Junior of Head of the Organizers showed his gratitude to the monks, local authorities, benefactors, Buddhists, volunteers and parents who together with the monks and the organizers held a meaningful retreat for children in the summer of 2022.

The retreat ended in the nostalgia of the children when they were no longer able to live in the temple. This will be a beautiful memory in children's life.
