The night performance and carriages decorated with flowers parade to welcome the Buddha"s birthday at Tay Khanh Pagoda - Thai Binh province.

In every April, when lotus flowers bloom, it is also the time that Buddhists welcome the Buddha"s birthday.

To praise the virtues of the Buddha and sing the songs on\r\nhis birthday everywhere, In the evening of May 29th, 2015 (April, 12th , Goat\r\nyear) at Tay Khanh Pagoda, Cao Mai hamlet, Quang Hung commune, Kien Xuong\r\ndistrict, Thai Binh province a night performance was held in order to welcome\r\nthe Vesak festival. It attracted many Buddhists inside and outside the district\r\nas well as the followers of other religions to the show.

Apart from the special items in the program, the audience\r\nalso enjoyed the emotional Cheo opera "Where is the Buddha?"  performed\r\nby the Cheo  opera Thai Binh group.

Earlier, on April 13th, 14th and 15th, lunar Goat year, the\r\nmonks from the pagoda and the people had paraded along with the carriages\r\ndecorated with flowers through the neighboring districts in the province and\r\nthe city. Although the weather was hotter than those of the previous years,\r\npeople attended the festival actively in the spirit of Vesak.
