The Nomination of New Vice Abbot

On Sep. 8th, 2019 (lunar Aug. 10, the year of the pig), at the monthly meeting, the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda conducted the nomination of the New Vice Abbot.

Because domestic and foreign affairs in the duty are relatively large, so the monks decided to nominate an additional Vice Abbot to shoulder the work of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Trong (the current Vice Abbot).

Receiving believe in the Sangha community, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dong has officially been appointed to the position of New Vice Abbot. In the mission and trust of the Sangha, Junior Ven. wishes to receive the consent of community members to lead the Sangha to conduct  more and more diligent and progressive Buddhist practices. TheVen. hopes that his of practicing experiences for over the past ten years can help co-cultivators overcome difficulties during their practice, as well as preserving themselves into majesty and virtue to gain peacefulness, happiness. In addition, he has also vowed to wholeheartedly serve the Three Jewels and promote Buddhist activities as well as activities that benefit the monastery community.

In the coming time, the pagoda's activities will be held in the spirit of harmony and solidarity of the Sangha members, and was discussed to solve together by the two Vice Abbot.
