The Ordination Ceremony on Nov. 20th, Year of the Cat

After the Sangha had entered the main hall, the ceremony was officially taken. One of these ones had a speech about the reason they became the monk. Most Master Thich Chan Tinh gave them some advice before shaving hair.
Before starting on the renunciation, all good men turned to the parents to show their deep gratitude for nourishing, and then kowtow to thank the great merit of their parents.
In a solemn atmosphere, the ritual of leaving home was performed. Next, Senior Abbot preached about the monk’s virtue to these new cultivators, such as: preserving the demeanor of dignity, cultivating the mind, respecting the elders, always thinking our mistakes without saying faults others, diligently practicing in order to repay to Four Grace, and then become as messengers of the Tathagata.
The representative of these ones expressed his thanks to the Sangha. Then, Most Master presented gifts to these ones for congratulating them to officially become a monk.
