The Patriarch s' Death Anniversary and One-day Retreat at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

On Nov. 10th, 2019 (lunar Oct. 14th, the year of the pig), Hoa Phuc Pagoda (Hoa Thach, Quoc Oai, Hanoi City) held a "One-Day Retreat" and attracted over 1,000 Buddhists to attend. In particular of this retreat, pagoda held the 31st anniversary of late Most Venerable Ngo Chan Tu s' Death - the Founder of Hoang Phap Pagoda.

The ceremony was witnessed with Junior Ven. Thich Phap Dang, abbot of Hue Vien Pagoda; Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa, abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda as the chief of Organizer and the Monks, Nuns from the local pagoda who attended the ceremony.

Opening the program is the Dharma talk with the topic Short Preaching of Amitabha Sutra Part 3 for practitioners who recite the Buddha's name. Next, the memorial rite of offering incense, offering tea, reviewing biographies and reading a feeling speech of the Buddhist s' representative in the ashram to the respectable Patriarch.
