The peaceful and happy retreat at Tieu Dao pagoda - Quang Ninh

This occasion in the time of rain retreat, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tinh, Abbot of Tieu Dao Pagoda preached a lecture to Buddhists on the topic The Meaning of Three Months of Rain Retreat. According to the Dharma talk, he clearly explained about the definition, time, place, purpose and meaning of the rain retreat in the sutras and monastic rules. Since then, Buddhists can understand the right view of the time when ordinated disciples will gather in one place, restraint, set the regulations of meditation practice.
At the end of preaching to the mass, he analyzed the commandments to settling and cultivating if the cultivators practice sincere and proper deeds, it is the source of energy to strengthen the Sangha 's peaceful, pure spirit, developing of bodhicitta, propagating the Dharma; Devout Buddhists will rely on virtues of the Great Sangha, promoting their spiritual; thanks to studying Buddhism, develop their intellect; thanks to the sincere practice of offering, accumulating large blessing and connecting with Buddha Dharma will be surely united forever and ever.”
After the ceremony, the people began the rite of repentance.
