The Peaceful Praying Ceremony for the Lunar New Year at Lingyin Temple, Taiwan.

Lingyin Temple - Taipei, Taiwan solemnly celebrated the ceremony praying for peace, dharma-assembly Buddha Medicine for many Vietnamese Buddhists is living, working and studying in Taiwan in the lunar January of Snake year.

Currently living abroad but the national spirit and respect for the culture of the Vietnamese people are always preserved by those who are far from their nation, which is also a source of happiness and warmth for those who are far from home.

 

All participants gathered together in the main hall to recite the Dharma Lotus sutra. In the afternoon, the mass returned to the dinning-room to prepare delicious vegetarian dishes with the flavor of Vietnamese offering the mass and luncheon.

 

In the early afternoon, Buddhists gathered in the lecture hall to listen to the monks’ dharma words, and recited Medicine Buddha Sutra, lighting candles to the Buddha and offering food to lone souls.

 

At the end of the ritual, the monks gave the Buddhists souvenir gifts and New Year's red-pockets from Most Master Thich Chan Tinh of Hoang Phap Pagoda, sent by Hoang Phap pagoda's the Abbot.

 

After the Great Ceremony of Peaceful Prayers for Lunar New Year ended, the mass brought items to the homeless at Taipei Railway Station (台北火車站) and give gifts to orphans at the Quan Ai Chi Gia Center (關愛之家) in Wenshan area, Taipei (台北市). 文山).
