In support difficult fates during the Covid-19 pandemic, Hoang Phap Pagoda cooperates with alumni group of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Faculty of Construction Technique) BK96XD and volunteer doctors to organize a automatic rice distribution program of "ATM - rice" at the Hoang Phap Pagoda on April 24th, 2020 (lunar April 2nd, year of rat).

 

Before that, many automatic rice distribution sites have appeared to provide to the poor, those who had difficulties and had no income in the days of "social isolation" and officially were operated in many places.

As this way, pagoda will distribute twice a day, at the morning (08:00 - 11:00 PM) and the afternoon (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM) until all the rice has been empty. At here, each person will receive 1.5kg/ person. In the process of distributing rice, the organizers will distribute the rice receipt, requiring participants to wear a mask and queue up to 2 meters apart in order to ensure the order and safety of the epidemic. Everyone must disinfect their hands before coming to get rice at here.

Representing the Monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Duyet expressed his gratitude to the donors who have connected good conditions, donated gifts and joined their hands to assist the disadvantaged in the region. On the representatives of the alumni group of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and the volunteer medical team also stated their sympathy to the mass.

When this rice distribution site was set up, many donors came to give rice. The program will continue to mobilize philanthropists to join hands to support, so that the needy overcome in period of epidemic.

This is really a noble deed and gesture that needs to be replicated to help the difficult cases caused by COVID-19.
