The Repentance Celebration 29th May In Monkey Year

In the evening of 3rd July, 2016 (29th May of Monkey year) Budhists inside and outside of Ho Chi Minh city returned at Hoang Phap pagoda to attend regular repentancy celebration.

During this repentancy celebration, before entering the\r\nmoment of six sense repentancy, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Quyet, a monk of\r\nHoang Phap pagoda have shared with Budhists a Drama through the topic: “\r\nEducation in family”

Nowadays, science and technology is developing. In contrast,\r\nhuman morality is more severe degradation leading to many social problems,\r\nresulting in chaotic society, insecurity, war, violent everywhere ect.\r\nTherefore, in order to solve these problems, especially the Budhists, what should\r\nwe do ?

To get peace, prosperity in a country , nation, society, It\r\nneeds most to be rooted in right of the first cell to creat that society. And\r\none thing we easily recognize that the cell builds a society, it is family.\r\nFamily is the cell of society; therefore, to be good society, the family must\r\nbe good, nd in ethical standard. Thus, the issue of ethical education in family\r\nhas a very important role. This education needs in many aspects, besides the\r\nsermon, the Venerable professor presented six ways to build a\r\nmoral,  exemplary family

Six aspects are :

1.     Teaching kid how to filial with\r\ngrandparents and parents.

2.     Teaching kid how to respect\r\nadults

3.     Teaching kids how to work, set\r\nself-sufficiency

4.     Teaching kids how to love, support\r\neach other among siblings in family

5.     In addition to sending kids to\r\nschool, we should focus on education about human virtues.

6.     Guiding kids how to choose good\r\nfriends, close to healthy environment.

For more than an hour, from these stories in the medieval,\r\nearly modern to present, he clearly analyzed six aspects for the Budhists to\r\nunderstand the responsibilities and duties of father, mother in family;\r\nbesides, it also reminds young people about the filial. From there, we can\r\nconclude that six aspects are basic backgrounds for the education in family, to\r\nbuild a happy family  and prosperty. Since then, the society will be\r\nstable, country will be developing and religion will be glorious.

After the sermon, Budhists entered into repentancy time and\r\nrecited as usual.
