The retreat of "a Peace and contentment Day" at Hoa Phuc Pagoda – Hanoi

Although still raining and the main road leading to the pagoda was flooded, the spirit of cultivation of the Buddhists near far is very diligent. At 7 am, most of Buddhists gathered in the pagoda, especially the "One peaceful day" this time, there is attendant a lot of young participants, the students in the Summer Retreat "Returning to the peace place" in 2018. It is worth cherishing and praising the spirit of cultivation and sentiment that young people have for the pagoda of Hoa Phuc
At 8 am, when the mandala stabilized, the Buddhists chanted on the great name of Amitabha Buddha to welcome the Venerable Thich Tam Hoa - Abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda. Following the dharma talk in the monthly training program, Ven shared about the three types of people in the world: trivial people, ordinary people, extraordinary people. Ven also mentioned those who fall into the wrong view during the course of the cultivaitng leading to false paths. The Buddhist story of Sariputta who saved his mother before entering Nirvana was shared by the Venerable.
After the morning practice, the Buddhists have been enjoying the vegetarian dishes cool, nutritious by the monks and Buddhists Hoa Phuc pagoda prepared. At 1 pm, Buddhists participated in the chanting course by the Venerable Thich Tam Giai – Vice abbot of Hoa Phuc pagoda. Before closing the cultivation of "One happy and peaceful day", the monks of Hoa Phuc Pagoda sent invitations to Buddhists attending the Dharma Assembly of Ksihitigarbha, the praying Ceremony for ancestor rebirth, filial piety Ullambana, The flower lantern night of praying for peaceful nation, happy people, (3 days and nights) at Hoa Phuc pagoda from 31/8 to 2/9/2018.
