The Retreat "Return to a Peaceful Place 2023" at Hoa Phuc pagoda, Ha Noi

On April 29th to May 2nd, 2023, the youth retreat "Return to a peaceful place" was organized at Hoa Phuc Pagoda (belonging to the Hoang Phap’s sect) in Hanoi City for nearly 300 pupils and students to attend.

This year, Hoa Phuc Pagoda continued to welcome students back to this retreat with the theme "Living in the blessings of ancestors". Young people didn't travel as a holiday routine, but participated in a sacred living to find their own peaceful moments, which lives fully in the blessings of their ancestors, to be understood and loved in accompaniment by monks, nuns and co-culvators.

The dharma talks gave profound teachings, and helped listeners express their problems and pressures in work, study and daily life.

Participating in the retreat, young people have learned more about their true self, learned to return to nurture their inner world, bravely face their hidden defilements, thereby being able to recognize and develop themselves.

In addition to the preaching sessions, the organizers planned for the students to participate in games and unique cultural performances. The exchanges led them to promote their thinking ability and solidarity among groups.

In particular, the youth have taken refuge in the Three Jewels led by monks and Nuns, and attended the good men's ordination ceremony, which helps sow good causes for the participants in this life and the next life towards the nobility path.

The time spent practicing at Hoa Phuc Pagoda will forever be an experience for the young to step firmly on the paths in life with their own feet.
