Update: 15/04/2021
In the morning of April 14th, 2021 (March 3rd, LC), on the 120th anniversary of the birthday of Late Most Ngo Chan Tu, the Founder of Hoang Phap pagoda and Tay Khanh pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Giai, the abbot of Bich Thuong Pagoda and Buddhists have returned to Tay Khanh pagoda to receive a picture of Patriarch and his censer to Bich Thuong pagoda which is one of the branches of Hoang Phap Pagoda.
Bich Thuong Pagoda in Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh Province has been lacking an abbot for many years. Seeing people's earnestness to practice, Junior Thich Tam Giai has returned to this temple instructing Buddhists to study for more than a year.
In the sacred atmosphere in front of the Founder altar at Tay Khanh pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Giai gave his speech, would like to take the picture and censer of the Patriarch to Bich Thuong pagoda to pay homage and his gratitude to Master's spirit in every day. The mass sincerely recited the Buddha's name to perform this ritual.
That afternoon, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Kinh and Buddhist monks held a bell casting rite in An Long village, Thai Binh province to donate to Dai Co Viet pagoda by Junior Thich Tam The as the abbot. At 3 a.m, the mass gathered beside the bell’s mold to pray for this goodness to be fully accomplished.
The bell has existed since the time when the Buddha was still alive. At that time, the bell is a signal gathering of monks in different areas. The bell signaling is an important event that requires the presence of monks to decide together. Later, the bell became a tool used in worship, the elegant sound of the bells to erase the afflictions of the sentient beings in all the realms. The bell is ringed twice a day at the monasteries with the meaning of heading to all realms, praying for beings to alleviate their suffering, to be at peace and relax, and then rely on the sound of bells to find the deliverance of Buddhism.
