The rite of Dharma thanking, year-end summation and gratitude to Buddhists of Hoa Phuc pagoda

On January 24th, 2021, the male and female Buddhists returned to Hoa Phuc pagoda in HaNoi city to participate in the program summarizing Buddhist activities in 2020.

Before this ceremony, the mass happily welcomed the special guests, teachers, parents and students of class 11A3, Lang Giang High School No. 3 (Bac Giang province).

After the entertainment section, the pagoda solemnly welcomed Junior Thich Tam Hoa, Head of Hoa Phuc Pagoda to the lecture hall.

At the beginning of the talk, he summarized the charities done in 2020 and stated that it will continue in the next time.

Regarding Buddhist activities, Hoa Phuc pagoda still maintains most of the activities and guides to study Buddhism.

In the current Covid-19 situation in the world and in Vietnam, he reminded the teaching of impermanence, law of cause and effect. Being existed up to now, because we still believe in cause and effect, karma. He analyzed clearly from Covid-19 disease to the retribution of karma of killing. Therefore, practice of Five precepts by Buddhists is extremely practical and important.

Finally, the Ven. reminded the mass to limit the killing of sentient beings, drinking alcohol during the Tet holiday, should not gather to avoid the risk of infection. At the same time, each person should be the person who propagates the Dharma to bring the light of the Buddha's teachings to spread everywhere.

In particular, the elderly Buddhists should not copy inflexibility in the application of Buddha's teachings, but should skillfully educate their descendants in accordance with their age, psychophysiology.
