The rite of year end dharma thanking at Giai Lam pagoda

The official ceremony was held in a dignified atmosphere under the witness of monks. The program’s start is a statement of reason, introducing the program and participants.
After that, Buddhist Tran Van Minh (religiou name Tinh Minh) announced a detailed report summarizing the affairs at Giai Lam Pagoda in the past year. Buddhist Dau Van Trung (religiou name Quang Tam) represented the ashram, offering his thoughts.
Next, Junior Thich Tam Luc had dharma words to the mass. He encouraged the spirit of study, and praised the merit of Buddhists who have diligently practiced and enthusiastically protected the Three Jewels in the past year; at the same time, he expressed his gratitude to Most Master Thich Chan Tinh of Hoang Phap Pagoda, the monks and lay people.
At the end of the program is Thanksgiving, offering Buddha and dedication merit.
In the afternoon, the monks and Buddhists in the temple hold a rite offering food, and pray for blessing to spirits lonely.
