The second day of Temporary ordination retreat for Children in Summer

June 21, 2022 is the second day of the retreat; after having breakfast, the learners gathered in the Main Hall to listen to the sermon from Senior Thich Nghiem Dao, Head of Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Duong Minh Chau district, Deputy Secretary cum Chief of Office, Head of Tay Ninh Buddhist Guidance Department, Abbot of Linh Nghia Pagoda, Tay Ninh, preached a sermon the topic "Parents are the happiness of children's lives."
Everyone will have their own happiness. All of the above, the value of happiness in this life is to have parents besides ourselves, help us feel care, love, and walk firmly in life.
From his sermon, the Venerable hoped young listeners would know they are happy when they are still in the protection of parents, better understand the silent sacrifices of parents, who have fully met their physical needs, as well as lead them to human values and morality. Therefore, they need to promote, preserve and be responsible for the love of their parents by being obedient, helping with housework, focusing on studying, and limiting the use of phones to build a good life in thoughts, words, and actions every day. By doing these things, they will not disappoint their parents, monks and nuns, and the good conditions they have in this life.
In the afternoon, musician Tinh Hai had a session to guide young learners about music by learning to sing the song "Return together at here". Through this activity, the musician gives you four essential skills: silence, listening, observation, and memorization.
Musician Tinh Hai's real name is Nguyen Trung Hai. He started composing Buddhist music in 2008 after taking refuge at Hoang Phap pagoda with the religious name Tinh Hai; He is a Teacher at Nguyen Van Tiet Secondary School, Thuan An, Binh Duong.
In the evening, the participants entered the Ullambana chanting session.
