"The temple protecting the nation's soul" Retreat of Nhan Sinh Club.

In the willing of dharma propaganda as well as wishing to support monks and nuns having a facility to organize retreats for everyone; Nhan Sinh Club organized "The temple protecting the nation's soul" Retreat of community teenage at Hoang Phap pagoda by the guidance Bhikkhu Giac Minh Luat, as well as monks-nuns in the Teaching Board with nearly 2,000 young people attending from 18-19 02/2023.

Before that, the music night "Harmony with the Buddha Realm" was held at lecture hall 1 of dharma wheel building, as a healing, and spiritual therapy for the young in the evening of February 18, 2023.

On the morning of February 19, 2023 (January 29, LC), young practitioners solemnly welcomed the monks to demonstrate the retreat "The temple protecting the nation's soul". Proving the ceremony, Most Master Thich Chan Tinh of Hoang Phap Pagoda has a few words of Dharma to the Organizers and the young in attendance.

The Master praised the spirit of propagating the profitable Dharma of Bhikkhu Giac Minh Luat, head of the Organizers, and monks-nuns in the Teaching Department. He reminds, an ordination person always takes the teachings: above to seek bodhi awakening; below to save all beings. In order to achieve that mission, the practitioner needs to have practice, have the material of peace and happiness, to be able to spread peaceful energy to those around him.

For a monk ’s dharma propagating, there are four important factors that help accomplish the Buddhist ’s affair:

1. Mind: big compassion, always thinking for others. Having a strong will, not afraid of dangers, following the example of arhat Purnamaitrayaniputra on the path of propagating the Dharma.

2. Talent: good preaching. Practitioners need to study widely, listen a lot on the basis of both worldly and Buddhist knowledge in order to bring Buddhism to all audiences of all social classes.

3. Appearance: be good. The attracted look together with the mind, and talent is also an advantage for a practitioner, because this will be a favorable condition for him to approach and create goodwill when in contact with the mass.

4. Practice: is the most important factor. When a person has talent, a beautiful look will be respected by the mass; on the contrary, one without practice is easy to fall and lose oneself. The cultivation of precepts is the foundation, an example to encourage others.

At the same time, the Most Master encouraged young people to be preachers in everyday life, contributing to bringing peace and happiness to relatives, families and society.

After that, all students listened to a dharma talk named Lovelorness being also very good, my dear! by Bhikkhu Giac Minh Luat is currently studying at Nhu Lai Thien Tu, San Deigo, California, USA, PhD student at Universities of Thailand and the United States, Chairman of Nhan Sinh Club, Head of the Organizers.

Love is an eternal topic in human life, especially young people. However, to have a correct understanding of love, and how to deal with falling is a very necessary issue for teenagers.

Meeting the suitable person, and having favorable conditions in love is a blessing, but few people get what they want. Therefore, we often read on social networks about young people who are lost in love, and then find a way to end their heartbreak. During the lecture, Bhikkhu reminded the audience that they should love and think about their parents, relatives, and especially to love themselves. Young people should not be blind in love. All the predestined conditions we meet, no matter how long or short, will only accompany us on a journey. When the predestined relationship ends, let's each step strongly on the way forward, maybe we will find for ourselves a new joy, more worthy happiness. When the love is gone, the more you hold on to it, the more pitiful you will become,  be afraid of everything, and lock the door of your life. Please consider pain as a miracle for us to grow up, learn to let go, forgive, and love ourselves. Past sorrows should not be regretted, let's cherish what we have now to feel the happiness that is all around.

After the Dharma talk, all participants listened to the talk show, the topic "Going back to the homeland" with the guest, Vice Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Hai.

In the afternoon, there is a program of Repentance-Vow (guest of Junior Thich Nhuan Thanh) with Dharma talk named "The Leaving-home path".

The day of cultivation was fully accomplished in the joy of young people.

Before leaving, Hoang Phap Pagoda gave the young people gifts of Dharma, books: "All the heart for the Belief", "Lessons of Buddhists", "Sunshine in the Rain", "Practice at home" by Most Thich Chan Tinh.
