The Three Jewel Refuge Ceremony for cancer ill children coming from the Oncology Hospital

At 9:00 am, the Monks came to the main hall in front of the Buddha’s statue, solemnly offered incense to Him, spreaded the Three Refuge and Five Precepts for the children. All the children respectfully listen the Triple Gem, and receive precepts from the present Monks. Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh is is not present directly at the refuge ceremony because of busy having a Buddhist affair, however, he also transmitted the precepts from a distance through the connection of small screen.
Next, on behalf of the Sangha, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dong had some encouragement words to kids, explaining the content and basic meanings of the Three refuge, as well as some necessary issues for the Buddha's disciples. At the end of the ceremony, Monks gave a gift to each participant. This is a small gift to support difficulties for child patients.
The ceremony of taking refuge in the Three Jewels closed in the joys of the attendees.
