The Ullambana's Great Ceremony of Pious Gratitude at Giai Lam Pagoda in Ha Tinh Province

On the morning of August 10th, 2018 (lunar July 10th, the Year of the Pig), Giai Lam Pagoda (Tinh Phap) in Thach Tan Commune, Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh Province solemnly held the Great Ceremony of Ullambana.

The ceremony was attended by the members Ven. of the Board Director (BD) of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) who resided in monasteries in Ha Tinh province, along with numerous Buddhists men and women.

Rituals of offering flowers to the Three Jewels, pining up roses to Venerables, gratitude feeling the Ullambana season, offering pure material to the Sangha were celebrated solemnly and deeply in order to arouse the spirit of filial piety in each human heart.

At the end of the ceremony, Junior Ven. Thich Thien Nhon - Head of the BD of VBS in Thach Ha district preached a few dharma words to the Buddhists.
