The wisdom candle offering night at Đống Cao pagoda – Thanh Hoá

Finishing the retreat to commemorate Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha Birthday, Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa (belonging to the Hoang Phap Pagoda sect) organized a candle lighting night "Offering the candles of wisdom" from Sep. 14th-21st, 2025.

The Abbot of Dong Cao pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hung held the repentant rite and recited the Sutta. The mass respectfully repents three pure karma, sincerely remembering Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva vow and wisdom, also dedicated their merit to the parents and relatives.

 

The Junior preached on Bodhisattva's meaning and vow, then, he explained filial piety and the gratitude to the parents in the spirit of Buddha Dharma.

 

The ceremony was filled with joy for the attendees.
