The year - end gratitude party

On occasion of ending in the year, Hoang Phap Pagoda held a party of gratitude to employees in KT Co. Ltd Investment and Development, for contributing completion of construction of the Multi-functional Building on Jan. 17th, 2020 (lunar Dec. 23rd, the pig year).

In the meeting, Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh had a talk with the all participants. On occasion of the end of the year, the Monk expressed  his gratitude to the employees in the company. Through the tale Ong Tao Ve Troi (the legend of stove god to Heaven), he told the educational story of family life, all ones ought to live to have before and after, fidelity and no deceit. In the old days, ancestor often said, each of person will have a demon on two shoulders to witness its right and wrong. The ancients said in the purpose of reminding their children not to do wrong, but in the Buddhist teachings that called it the law of cause and effect. Whatever we have sowed, we will reap that fruit

Through this, the Venerable reminded the mass when we get as parents role, please do good deeds to make lasting merits for our offspring in future, we should not seek material to do bad things and sins.

After that, the Venerable gave lucky money with a portion of dharma gift, including Huong Phap, Muddy Pond, History of Shakyamuni Buddha, A Lesson to gratitude, A Brief Introduction to Hoang Phap Pagoda, and A Gift of New Year.

On this occasion, the Monk also held a year-end party for Buddhists at the pagoda who joined hands with the pagoda in organizing retreats and great ceremonies throughout the year.
