Together Temporary Ordination Retreat at Hoa Phuc pagoda

On the 34th anniversary of the death of Master Ngo Chan Tu of Hoang Phap Pagoda (Oct. 16th, year of the Dragon - October 16th, year of the Tiger), monks and Buddhists at Hoa Phuc Pagoda - Hanoi (belonging to Hoang Phap sect) have declared Opening the program "According to the flow of time, Let's attend Temporary Ordination Retreat in Ten days and nights" for good men and women who diligently practice.

This is the 5th Retreat that will be held under the guidance of Abbot Thich Tam Hoa and the temple's monks.

The retreat is an opportunity for practitioners to cultivate together the life of the monastic, review the teachings of the Buddha, thereby cherishing the moral values that Patriarchs have worked so hard to cultivate. All good merit will be dedicated to Late Most Patriarch Hoang Phap pagoda - the temple of the ordained generations with the ideals to propagate the Dharma for living beings. We pray that Master Thich Chan Tinh and Hoang Phap Sangha will always be stable, happy, and peaceful.

To cultivate this dignified merit, the practitioner seriously practices the following schedule:

4:30 am: prostrate of repentant ritual

6:30 am: have breakfast

8:30 a.m : Chant the Ksitigarbha Sutra

11:30 am: have lunch

14h30: prostrate to Liang-Wu-Ti Sutra

19h30: Read and share about the collection ‘Essays by the bamboo window’(竹窻隨筆)
